Problem using cpptasks when running Antelope as a jEdit plugin

Message Hello,

I realize that this might not be the right forum for this question, but
I'm having trouble using the Antelope jEdit plugin with buildfiles that
use cpptasks. The cpptasks tasks are added to the buildfile using the
new xmlns antlib feature, like this:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<project name="blah"
    <target name="compile">
        <cpptasks:cc ... >

Standalone Antelope handles this buildfile perfectly, but using the
jEdit plugin I get this output in the jEdit console:

===== BUILD STARTED =====
C:\workspaces\ ... \build.xml:7: Problem: failed to create task or type
Cause: The name is undefined.
Action: Check the spelling.
Action: Check that any custom tasks/types have been declared.
Action: Check that any <presetdef>/<macrodef> declarations have taken

This appears to be an antlib declaration.
Action: Check that the implementing library exists in one of:
        -C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\.ant\lib
        -a directory added on the command line with the -lib argument
Total time: 0 seconds
===== BUILD FINISHED =====
Tue Aug 21 11:58:51 EEST 2007

The required jar files are installed in both ant's lib dir and under
.ant\lib in my home directory.
